Meet the Cover Girl: the story of the girl who ended up on the cover of “ Impossibly, Perfectly Normal.” Her name is Jordyn! The two of us met as freshmen at Northern Kentucky University. On our very first day of class (Intermediate Spanish I with Dr. Blas Puente, MWF, 8:00 AM), we ended up sitting next to each other and didn’t stop talking from that moment forward. Over the years, we had several other classes together and we sat in the library in our self-created nook where we shared a desk, studied, and procrastinated waaaay too much. Jordyn and I couldn’t possibly predict how much we had in common! We had the same major, a similar upbringing, and an undeniable love for literature, music, church, and Christ. Every conversation between us was a positive one. Since we are both out of college now, both married, and teaching high schoolers several states apart, I’m so thankful our friendship has lasted the way it has. This is a dream come true! I am blown away by the immediate support that I've received from my friends and family. There has been so much excitement surrounding this project. Thank you, KDP Publishing! I AM A PUBLISHED AUTHOR. I AM A WRITER. Several years ago when I was back in high school, a close friend and mentor of mine (Diana Brown) whispered in my ear and said, "you're going to be an author." I asked her, "How do you know?" She responded, "I just know things." I could tell it was a "God Thing." Don't let anyone ever tell you that something isn't possible. If you set your mind to it, you can accomplish it. This project was a learning curve and a huge step out of my comfort zone; however, we have to experience a little fear in order to grow. I've been writing this story for 6 years. Since receiving a college education (thank you, NKU!), I picked this novel back up and had to completely rewrite the first 10 chapte
